He married (1) MARIBAH HAMMOND November 29, 1828 in Clyde, Wayne, New York. She was born 1805 in New York, and died January 14, 1852 in Saline, Washtenaw, MI.   He married (2) SARAH. (May be Sarah Burt?)

There's a William Vorce listed in the 1835 New York State Census Town of Ellery, NY. He is listed as head of family. Three males in family, two females in family. 87 acres of improved land occupied by family.

Listed in US Census June 8, 1880 Spring Grove Twp Linn, IA pg 374 LDS the father of Charles H. Vorce living with him at age 76.

At age of death 77 years 6 months 24 days, his b 5 Aug 1803 d 1 Mar 1881 (on headstone).

There was a Sarah Vorce and son Henry V. Vorce listed in a petition for proof of will of Lewis Burt dated April 7, 1866 registered in Yates County, NY. Sarah was listed as the deceased daughter of the deceased, Lewis Burt, and Henry was a minor over 14 years old living in the town of Milo.  Could this Sarah be the second wife of William Clark Vorce? Source: Petition for Proof of Will dated April 7th, 1866. Lewis Burt died in the town of Jerusalem in the County of Yates on or about the 30th day of August, 1865. The will bore the date of February 27th 1857.
